How to Earn Extra (& Passive) Income with your Handmade Business Website.

by

If you have your own website, and you begin getting lots of traffic, you may find yourself reaching profit plateaus. Let’s face it; we can only make as much money as we can physically create with our 2 little hands, right?

Nope! There are many ways you can expand and scale the amount of money that you make….Β without making more and more products all the time.

I make extra money from my ornament website every month, even on months I don’t add new products, and IΒ don’tΒ do it by selling advertising (in fact, I’m totally again that in most cases….I talk about that in the video).

This video will show you one of the ways that I make some extra, passive, income…. during my busiest months, an extra $4-500. (And, in December, I earned close to $1400!) What’s awesome about what I’ll show you, is that you set it up once…. and then it continually brings you income.

Some of the things I mentioned in the video:

The Amazon Affiliate Program

Pretty Link Plugin for WordPress (or, search for it from right within your WordPress dashboard).

Don’t have your own website? Check out my Tutorial Library (don’t worry… it’s free) to learn how to build one yourself, easily & quickly!

Another article you might be interested in: Should you sell patterns or tutorials of the items you make?

Coming up soon…..

I will be creating some videos showing you some of the other ways I bring in extra income with my website, as well as show you how you can start an affiliate program for your own products….. a fantastic way to motivate others to spread the word for you and increase your sales.

I wasn’t able to watch your video. It was “thinking” (spinning) for over 20 mins. Another finally loaded and I could hear your voice but the video was black. I’m on an iPad, not sure if the problem is on my end. Love looking at your stuff! ?

Well…. so far what I have figured out is that it IS indeed an iPad issue. It’s doing the same for me on my iPad. (But working fine in Safari on my iPhone & Mac… go figure!). I’m seeing on Google that this is a common problem with the newest iOS update on iPad. I’m sorry. πŸ™ In the meantime, I’m still searching for a fix…

Bummer! I’m so sorry. It’s some kind of issue with Apple that I haven’t been able to figure out yet. It should work if you try on a desktop…. I’m sorry about that. :/

Yes, it’s a lifesaver! Don’t worry – installing a plugin in super simple. I can’t believe I haven’t done a video yet for that. I will get that done soon. πŸ™‚

(The quick version though… if you go to “plugins” in the left-hand nav of your WordPress dashboard, you’ll see a link that says “Add New”. That will take you to a page where you can either search for plugins right there, or you can upload one that you already have on your own computer ((that would be if you’d purchased one somewhere))… and then wordpress will pretty much walk you through the steps of adding it to the site once you’ve found what you want. You’ll click “install” and then you’ll “activate”.. and that’s it. Hope that helps a little!)
